Review: Shiro Cosmetics Tributes Collection

I bought this collection back when the Hunger Games released and am finally getting around to using them. Don't you hate when you lose track of something you bought, then you find it and it's like finding a buried treasure? That is what this was like lol. I was so excited to have a Hunger Games eyeshadow, because I loved the books so much and I was so excited for the movie. I bought about half the collection, the colors I really wanted :)
Huntress: Sparkling Silver
Rebellion: Black with blue sparkles
Star-Crossed: Dark Copper-Brown
Beyond the Fence: Shimmery Forest green with brown shifts
Cornucopia: Golden Yellow
Mockingjay: Warm Bronze
Girl on Fire: Red Orange with Orange-Yellow sparkles
Party Escort: Blacked Silver(Not a part of Hunger Games Collection)
(Natural Light)
Top Row: Huntress, Rebellion, Star-Crossed, Beyond the Fence
Bottom Row: Cornucopia, Girl on Fire, Mockingjay, Party Escort
Huntress, Rebellion, Star-Crossed, Beyond the Fence
Cornucopia, Girl on Fire, Mockingjay, Party Escort
Amazing sparkles of Rebellion
And of Party Escort
The colors of the collection are absolutely stunning! I really love each one, but despite that they are kind of difficult to use. They are great with a sticky base on the lid, but when I tried to blend the color out it diffused really quickly and lost pigmentation. And if you have any practice using loose pigments with a sticky base, you know that sticky does not blend well. It tends to go patchy. So that is my only complaint about these shadows. Otherwise, totally gorgeous, especially if you love The Hunger Games and I defiantly plan to purchase more from Shiro Cosmetics(Pokemon collection!)

I love Shiro! Have you tried their Intertubes? I find when blending on a sticky base, it helps to kind of stipple the pigment on with a stiff dome brush, rather than using back-and-forth or small-circles motions.

Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy is a great sticky base for pigments but it's not too difficult to blend on--have you tried using that?
