Review: Too Faced Primed & Poreless Face Primer

This is the second product that Tiomi from Makeubee sent me for review, I got a cute mini version :P I have never used a primer before so this was a really new and different experience. The first time I used it, I actually didn't like it just because I wasn't used to the feeling.

Product Description:Our one-of-a-kind makeup primer was scientifically formulated to wear under bronzers and foundation powders or alone to achieve the look of flawless skin without makeup. Vitamins A & C, Mulberry Extract and a powerful dose of Retinol virtually banish pores while tired skin is left hydrated, firmer, and detoxified. Primed & Poreless creates the perfect canvas to allow powders, bronzers and foundations to airbrush onto the skin seamlessly and perfectly blended. Skin appears brighter, fresher and younger. Color stays true and in place all day.

Okay so when you first put it on(you only need a small amount for each part of your face i.e. forehead & cheeks) it feels very velvety and luxirous. I love the feeling, makes your skin feel super soft and it evens out skin tone slightly, so if you already have really good skin you might be able to just use this and skip foundation complety. It has a light skin tone color at first but when you blend it into the skin that dissipates.

I didn't notice too much of a difference in the way my foundation appeared on the skin compared to without the primer but it did make my foundation last MUCH longer! At least another 2-3 hours of wear time compared to without a primer. BUT this is a bit pricey: $30 USD for 1 oz. I probably wont repurchase this(although now I am hooked on primers and wanna try Monistat Chafing Gel ASAP) but if your willing to shell out the dough then its totally worth it!

Now for some pictures!!
No makeup
Primer only. You can really see how much more even my skin looks
Primer AND Foundation. A nice clean surface with hardly any poors
And this is after 8 hours of wear, As you can see my T-zone did get oily, but I still have excellent coverage(this last photo was taken with a flash because there isn't any light at 8 pm XD)

I hope this was helpful and that you have an amazing day!!

Depending on what skintype you have you get different results. I for instance has really oily skin, and the silicone in Prime and Poreless makes my t-zone very shiny after a while. There are primers without silicone, I have one from Korres that workes for me. Another that works is from Ruby & Millie, so don't give up in the search of a primer.
    Nice pictures for the review!

Great review! I've been thinking about this for a while but didn't want to shell out the money. I currently use the chaffing gel and I like it. You don't really notice it evening out my skin tone but I think my skin looks smoother when I use it.

Please post a review after you try out the chaffing gel. I've heard wonderful things about it, but I'm honestly too chicken to try it out myself. ;-)
