Tutorial: Twilight

This was requested by Danisaddiction, I really like this look, it isn't much like any of my other looks. But I do have one question to anyone who has to answer: When you wear NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean on your lid, with a black shadow on top, and and eyeshadow base beneath, does it crease? Because mine does and it drives me CRAZY! Just twenty minutes after I finished the tutorial i had three huge creases in my eyeshadow. Does this happen to you? And if it does can you tell me how to fix it? I love using this pencil, but I can't stand how it creases, and its the only one of my JEPs that does it. Maybe I got a wonky pencil.

Anyways now onto the tutorial :)
Start with a clean canvas

Then smooth the canvas out, using your favorite concealer & powder. Then apply your favorite eyeshadow base all over the lid
I used Kirkland by Borghese Mineral Exact Match Concealer
Palladio Rice Powder in Translucent and Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Next apply a black sticky base all over the lid, be careful not to put it in or near the crease
I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean

Then blend it out using either your finger or a flat paddle brush like the one pictured.

Then apply a matte black shadow all over the lid, on top of the base. I used my finger to really get it dark
I used NYX Eyeshadow in Black
Then take a blurple eyeshadow with a frosty finish and apply it with a fluffy dome brush(pictured), to the crease. Go back in with the black with the same brush and blend the two colors together.
I used NYX Eyeshadow in Morocco

Now using the same brush, lightly apply a frosty blue shadow(like the one pictured) just above the blurple and on top, blending the two together.
I used NYX Eyeshadow in Aqua
Next apply a sticky white base to the brow bone & tear duct, blending it out with your finger
I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
This step is probably the most important step, Apply a SHIMMERY white eyeshadow to the brow bone & tear duct with a LARGE shadow brush like the one pictured. This step is important because it adds the extra umph & finishes off the shadows. It creates a nice micro shimmer effect on all the shadows, especially the black
I used NYX Eyeshadow in White Pearl
Next apply a metallic silver liner all the way around the eyes, the wing is optional. But make sure you have it on the lower lashl ine. If you don't have a silver liner, you can go ahead and use a black liquid liner if you like.
I used Loreal HiP Chrome Eyeliner in Silver Lightning
Then tight line using a black pencil liner
I used Revlon Colorstay Pencil Liner
Finish off the eyes by filling in your brows & Applying your favorite mascara.
I used Maybellines Turbo Mascara(for Volume) & Maybellines Lash Stiletto(for length, not pictured)

Now onto the lips:

First block out your natural lip color, especially if you have very pigmented lips
I used Kirkland by Borghese Mineral Exact Match Concealer & Palladio Rice Powder
Then apply a light pink lipstick with a frosty finish
I used NYC Ultra Moist Lip Wear in Chiffon
After that I applied a nude lip gloss
I used NYC Liquid Lip Shine in Cappuccino

And your done!

I used UPDD under, Black Bean as a base and then matte black eyeshadow over the top three times this week (when I find a look I love I wear it a lot, haha!) and every single night I fell asleep with it on and in the morning my makeup was still nearly perfect, not a crease in sight..

Aww you are such a doll! Thanks for doing the tutorial for this look! I love your tutorials! Ok, so I've never worn silver liner but I'm so gonna try this look. I'm sure that you probably know this but I've found that any of the NYX jumbo pencils will crease if I don't let my TFSI set in for a few and then apply them super light and blend the crap out of it haha.
