Start with a clean canvas as always
Again, as always cover up an discoloration or veins on you lid using a concealer and set it with powder. Then apply an eyeshadow base of your choice. I am using Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Then apply a white sticky base all over the lid, this allows the shadows to have something to stick to, thus lasting longer. I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk
Then apply a white shimmery shadow on top of your base. You can use a matte white as well but I think the shimmer is more "Sailor Moon". I used one from the Coastal Scents 88 Metal Mania Palette(this is my favorite color from this pallet, is that weird?lol)
Then using a pencil brush(we will be using the same brush for the rest of the shadows), apply a true blue to the crease making a shape like the one shown.
Now apply a purple based blue shadow just above the last color overlapping it.
For each step, this is how I blended the shadows. First I did a windshield whipper motion back and for gradually moving up. Then I pulled the color up using short strokes. I hope I explained that okay, lol.
Then apply a matte purple just above the last color and blend it up and out
The a Pinkish red just above the purple, blending up and out
Then a matte orange, blending up and out(reapply any other color if it gets diluted from the blending, I did this several times)
Then apply a shimmer or matte yellow shadow, blending up and out.
Then apply the same white sticky base to the brow bone and tear duct. Blend it out with your finger and set it with a matte white shadow. If you lose some of your yellow, go ahead and reapply it as needed
Then apply a silver glitter liner all over the lid and blend it out using your finger or a very small paddle brush. You can't really tell in the photo but it is there
Then apply all the Shadow to the lower lash line. From left to right: True Blue, Purple Blue, Purple, Pink Red,Orange, Yellow)
The line your top lash line with a black liquid or gel liner and apply a black pencil liner to the water line.
Finish off the eyes with your favorite mascara and fill in your brows
For the lips, I applied a very light pink lipstick with a frosty finish. This is NYC Ultra Moist Lipwear in Chiffon(I did a review on these lipsticks here)
Then applied a normal pink lip gloss on top. This is NYC Liquid Lip Shine in Dusty Rose
And lastly, in the outer corners of the lips I applied a pink based red lip gloss using a lip brush. This is from Maybelline and it is called Cranberry Cocktail
And your done!
I hope this was helpful, again if you guys have any advice for me I would love to hear it!
